I won’t say it’s not a possibility. But, things like that are so rare I wouldn’t want to give false hope. Also, I don’t know of any plans to pitch it elsewhere.

I had never heard of this show until it went on Instant Play on Netflix… I joined Hulu Plus just so we could watch the third season – maybe once it picks up steam streaming online, they will reconsider or bring it to another network…

I am crying on the inside! House is not going 2 continue with Hugh lourie leaving 2 pursue a singing career… I have no reason to watch Fox any more! I feel like a part of me has died. Thank you to Lie to me scoop, you have done a great job keeping us all updated.
While I am sad it has ended, i am certainly glad we had 3 seasons to enjoy. it gave me insight into my partners work and allowed me to engage with him while we were living thousands of miles apart. plus, it was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed all the characters and storylines. When is series 3 being released on DVD? Have you got any feedback from the cast and crew?

its over guys. i know many of you are hopeful for a alternative network to pick it up but it’s highly unlikely. The situation with DAMAGES was that the network that picked it up was actually a fan of the show, LTM is done and it was great.

The idiot that decided cancelling this show was a good idea should be fired! It puts me in serious doubt that FOX cares about what they put out there. This was one of the only interesting shows in the lineup. It may be a dead show, but then, so is my interest in watching anything else FOX comes up with. I’m just plain angry!!!!!!!

FOX’s promos for this show were so bad that I did not watch the show – because they led me to believe it was another reality show, as contrasted with what it really is – an outstanding fictional series based on fact. I was VERY excited to discover Lie To Me on Netflix, after it was recommended by a friend this past winter (2010-2011). I watched every episode and was eagerly awaiting season four. There are few shows I watch on television, and I will watch Lie To Me. I’ll do whatever I can to keep it on the air for a fourth season. Anybody have any suggestions of who to contact at FOX?

Well this is totally shitty news. :( What the F is wrong with Foxx? I really enjoyed this show and don’t understand why they would cancel it. Everyone I turned this show on too also thought it was clever & entertaining. The cast was awesome and had great dynamic. I’m now doubtful that they’ll release season 3 on dvd. I called their distribution dept. to ask if they will ever release season 2 on blu-ray. They said it’s not likely to happen. Foxx is run by a bunch of morons who put out all sorts of lame shows. Maybe this show was brining over an unwanted smarter audience. Very dissappointing. Thank u to the cast for a good run.

Oh no!!!!!! I have been checking every week to see when it was going to start again! This is awful!! It was the only show that was actually educational and had a good storyline – great interaction between the characters. Lightman’s honesty was refreshing. This makes me very upset with Fox. I will be a fan of any network that picks it up. So long Fox!

Sure. Why not? Cancel one of the few intelligent programs left on the air. Fox has to leave room for more mind-numbingly stupid comedies written to entertain 13-year-old, booger-joke-loving teenagers. Or maybe more “Reality” shows that have absolutely NOTHING to do with reality, but are cheap to produce, have no good actors to pay and cater to the numbnuts who tune in to watch them.
What does this say about FOX as a company and about us as a society when we can’t recognize and keep a program like this, with quality writing and acting, on the air more than 3 seasons?
This is beyond sad, heading into depressing.

I just found lie to me for season 3. Got hooked and now it’s being cancelled. The least they could have done is do a final season episodes like some more responsible networks do. That way things can be wrapped up properly. Now we the fans are just left hanging. Its really turned me off the fox network. Why watch fox shows when if you get hooked on a program that has a good fan base and fans show how much they care, and then the fans are shafted. Good programs cancelled for cheaper so called reality shows. This is so depressing. Now we will never know what happens. This is just depressing news.

Now then, there are a few instances of fans rallying around a show to keep it going just a little longer. it worked amazingly in the cases of JAG and Family Guy. It even worked long enough for them bring some closure to Jericho (another amazing show dumped by shortsighted programming directors.)

This sucks so much! I mean sometimes there were plotlines that made me roll my eyes, but this show is one of the most original and smartest shows out there! (It’s sort of crazy though, my mom’s “All My Children” gets cancelled and now my “Lie to Me” does… now what are we going to watch? O_o)

Lie to me was a great show. I’ve been waiting around for it to start back since January. Finally thought I would look online to see what was going on. This is a shame. Somehow I’m not surprised though. I wouldn’t expect Fox to make good decisions. That’s beneath them. There’s few shows out there that are entertaining and relatively clean. Now all I’m watching is Psych, Bones and Modern Family.

the only way to make fox listen would be to hit them in the pocket, organise a boycott of their reality shows for a week and their advertisers would go ballistic, the more public the better. this is why people shy away from fox in the first place a top quality show gets cancelled for no good reason.

I just turned on Sky1 and it said it was the last ever episode:( first i thought in the series but then at the end they said that was it:(
it was really popular in the UK I love this programme! its one of the best programmes out there and unique.

I feel quite sad that I wont have something like this to look forward to when I come home when everything else in the world is quite grey atm. This was one of the things I looked forward to and now it is gone:(
I really hope someone else will pick it up, or another station will make an offer. I feel quite down now:/

I’ve just watched the last episode and I simply cannot understand why it has been cancelled. It is, sorry was, a brilliant show with interesting storylines strung together with humour, suspense and most importantly fantastic characters. It’s those characters that are going missed. I personally have been watching the show from episode 1 and have watched the characters all evolve and change, through the struggles Gillian had with her deceptive husband, to the well deserved makeover that Cal had which took him from a man who looked strangely worrying in a suit to the cheeky chappy rogue oozing with sexappeal, amazing what a pair of jeans and a smart jumper with the sleeves pushed up can do for a man. But it’s the genius behind the writing of the show which cannot be substituted, it’s so rare to find a programme with such well developed and such likeable characters, intellectual stories and clever humour that keeps you laughing and trying to figure out who did what all at the same time. In escence good quality tv is difficult to find and now it’s going to be even more so. Whoever made to decision to cancel making this fantastic show has a lot to answer for.

this was an amazing show that was horribly advertised by Fox, and the only reason that channel was still in the programmed channel search. I am boycotting Fox, as are at least 34 other people so far, for canceling the only show worth watching, and the most interesting show so far for me personally. I hope Fox crashes and burns, and I will gladly encourage everyone to help this process along in our unofficial boycott of the channel!

Lie to Me was one of the few quality TV shows out there that people actually enjoyed talking about after watching. It was fresh, educational and intelligent with thought provoking characters expertly portrayed by Tim, Kelli and the rest of the cast that kept viewers glued to their TVs. What I’d like to know is the reason why the show got cancelled, failing that what the substence these Muppets at Fox who made that decision were abusing when they made it? It seems to me that Fox has a new business model which is to cut production (costs) of quality programmes like LTM for cheaper, fake-baked low brow reality shows as described in the comments above which unfortunately demonstrates just how far Fox has truely lost their sense of reality (no pun intended) being so far out of touch with the kind of shows that the viewers (their life blood) actually want to see. This whole sad situation can be summed up, as Cal would say; ”It’s all bollocks”!!

And yeah I watched all three seasons this summer stupid but I found out about the decision only now and ok there weren’t a lot viewers but why? i mean Lie to me was something different from the other cop shows and it had action and humour and chemestry. Poor decision. Its a great show , love Tim Roth in it. The Murdoch’s obviously have bad judgement , they hack phones to make the news and cancel decent shows. Such is life!! maybe one day they’ll give the public something they actually want. Really hope another network snaps it up sharpish, I’ll miss it.

This is absurd. Lie to me has been educating and fun to watch. Cant believe the idiot FOX cut it short. I have to admit the content at season 3 are not better or even close to the first 2 seasons, but then there are things called branding among other things. If money is the issue then just make sure the content of the following seasons are as good as the previous one. Do they have better shows lined up to replace lie to me?

OMG, I know I’m a day late and a dollar short, but wth! The ONE good show on FOX and they cancel it? I can’t stand anything else besides Sunday nights on Fox. Their news even sucks. I am so sad. This was one of the very few shows that I made sure the kids were asleep for because I didn’t want to miss a single minute. I really hope someone else picks it up. I guess I’ll always have the Season 1 episodes that I bought :-(

I am so upset. I have watched this show since day one. I remember seeing a commerical back months ago that it was going to start back up in September. I didn’t want to miss the first show. Go to Fox and its gone. I have to google it to find that it is Cancelled. My Husband and I loved this show! It is a shame that FOX had to cancelled it. Reality shows really suck. There are very few good show on TV these days. This was one of the best. Always loved the stories and what would drove lightman to do what he did. Couldn’t be more sad to see FOX make such a bad decision. If it wasn’t for COPs I would never even watch the FOX network. I know I can’t be the only one who feels that way. Shame on you FOX. Bring Lie to me Back. Your ratings will go up if you bring Lie to Me back!!!!

This is by far one of the dummest moves fox has ever made. If it’s true that they were only looking at how many viewers there were at the time it aired, then they’re even more ignorant than I thought! I PVR everything, and before getting PVR I wouldn’t even watch the seasons of Lie to Me or House until it came out on DVD… that way I didn’t have to wait so long between episodes! STUPID MOVE FOX! Bring it back!!

the only solution to this problem is to boycott fox and ANY company that advertises on FOX. do not go to their website, do not friend them on facebook, if you are friends then un-friend them, delete them from twitter, do not record any of their other shows(sorry Bones), and get as many people as you can to not watch their shows either. Hit them in their pocketbooks and give them as much bad publicity as possible. BTW does anyone know anybody who has ever been selected for the ratings polls? NO? thats because they don’t really exsist! If they do they only watch stupid shallow shows and that is why there is crap on TV today.

I am new to the lie to me family. I found the show on netflix and I watched the seasons they had on there with in a matter of days. I am so in love with the show that I even did my own research to see if deception technology was real. Sad that the dip shits who run the network are about to lose a gold mine.

This is a huge disappointment. Lie to Me was one of the few truly intelligent crime shows on TV. With one too many CSI type shows, and more than necessary cop shows, this took a completely different approach on forensic science. Culprits were cleverly compared to real life behavior examples, the story lines kept your attention at each turn of events, the character development was brilliant and the chemistry between Lightman & Foster was endearing. There’s nothing left for me to watch on Fox.

This is no surprise, “Lie to me” as far as i’m concerned was one of the best shows to be shown and highly entertaining, But we all know that fox has a reputation, and that reputation is to cancel shows to make room for new ones while all the time keeping lower rating shows with smaller budgets going.
“Fox” are indeed one of the worse networks in the business for doing this and if any company was worthy of being black listed from viewers, this would be the one but sadly that will never come to me. “Fox” you are a disgrace to the television industry and as such set bad examples for the rest, shame on you and go screw your self’s, (Just because I’m angry).

I know it’s all a numbers game, but 2 million people were watching this show regularly when on TV and evidently a lot of others (like me) watching it on Netflix, and on DVD and abroad. It might be one of those series — like Star Trek or Arrested Development — where everyone later agrees it was a mistake to have cancelled based on the numbers alone. But nothing about Fox makes me think that the people there are capable of complex thought ….

I think this is bs I found out about it through Netflix. It’s hard to keep up with show there’s pretty much a new one everyday but I was hooked and got other friends hooked. They should also check ratings on Netflix and what not if the show is still running. Hope someone else picks it up.

Just heard the show was cancelled. NOOOOOOO!!! LIE TO ME was by far my favorite show. If they had ever had episodes on TV on a regular basis it would have been more popular. As it was, you could never tell in advance when a show was going to be aired. I rather suspect other reasons than lack of popularity. Everyone I know that saw the show liked it.

I beleive Fox cancelled the show because too many republicans and money makers ended up with their faces on the wall of shame. Every night they should comparisons photos–Fox has to protect their supporters. Perhaps a more rational channel will pick it up.

Hey Guys! I really was devastated when “Lie To Me” was cancelled. I couldn’t bare the thought of how some many ends were left untied, not knowing what was going to happen to “Callian”, how many more faces were left to read… but maybe is we send a petition with all our names, stating that we want “Lie To Me” back, to Fox, they may just give in!

The real reason the show got cancelled!!! It was revealing government tactics in warfare. Recognizing facial expressions is real. You can tell when someone is lying. A good use for interrogation. If you can learn what expressions you make with certain feelings you can learn to mask them.

All the television shows on tv Lie To Me has been one of the most interesting, funny & creative shows that i have seen in recent years to cancel this show was a crime fox network has their priorities more than a little mixed up people want these kind of shows as apposed to reality TV. I do hope they decide to continue the show.

Well seems the dumb fucks have done it again, here in Australia there are only two shows that i religiously watch every week , NCIS (original gotta love Abby) and Lie to me. Maybe they were pressured into cancelling Lie to Me because it was hitting home for too many people and they were having to cover their asses because people could read them after watching the show. But what i would like to know is when does the quality and ratings of a show come into it being cancelled or not, obviously it doesnt in the Fox household or else this show would never have been axed. Sorry to say this but as an Australian we dont have much to offer the TV watching public but the Americans who run these networks are a joke and don’t know what the real man or woman in the street wants to watch. If anyone starts a petition etc my husband and i will be in it and happy to help. Cheers all and lets wish for Lie to Me for xmas :)

I hate people who are ignorant and think government conspiracy is a falicy. It is real and they do it every day. If you had unlimited power and financing would’nt you following your dream tilll the end. Take cancer for an instance, lets say you had the cure for cancer and government backing would you do anything to bring it to the people. I know I would. But the greedy will stop it. (and they are the ones in control) If you didn’t have the backing of the greedy it would never see the light of day. You know why, because there is more money in trying to put a bandaid on it than bringing a cure. Making people sheep and following the crowd is what the government wants. Truth is knowledge and they don’t want you to have it. Also, Money is power and that is why a majority of our people don’t know what is going on. The wealthy, powerful, and greedy people of this world control what is going on. Brings me back to why this show got cancelled. They don’t want you to learn on how they interercept the truth and lies from the everyday person that has no clue as to how this world works!!! This show actually teaches us how to see the truth in when people are lying to us, and how to lie to to the person who is ripping us off everyday. A tool the greedy people use everyday and don’t want us to have!!! Facial expressions and emotion go hand in hand with how everyday people deal with life. If you could read those expressions you can predict what is going to happen. If you could learn to harness this power you would be unstoppable. Like how the government uses it, hence why the show got cancelled.

“lie to me” was one of the very few really interesting and honestly noteworthy shows of our time…. i guess too honest for american TV, they really have no balls at all, i actually was quite astounded that they dared air 3 seasons. This show will be sorely missed, it was not the lack of public interest lack why it was cancelled, but lack of network courage (once again). Maybe a europian network will take up the topic….

This was the BEST series that I have ever seen, and this can not possibly be true!! Someone else has to pick up this show, and the ratings reports were obviously a fake. Hell, if the issue if showing politicians faces, just leave that out, but put the show back on and make some advertising money off of it, because there are plenty of fans!
Someone do society a favor for once, and put a show back on that deserves to live! Compare this and two and a half men for God’s sake! No contest! Please!

Just finished watching Season 3 on Netflix. I was so disappointed that there were only 13 episodes and come to find out LTM was cancelled. Lie to Me is so much better than most of the other shows out there. Bad decision Fox!!!

Fox obviously believes that no one wants to watch an intelligent television show and would rather have their brains turned to mush by watching all the stupid $#^% that’s currently on the air. I seriously hope some redemption is given to this show…I know the chances are slim-none, but you know what~ the series Firefly had their fans rally so fiercely for them that they got a movie made that allowed the fans closer. I can only hope this happens for Lie to Me also. My husband and I are horribly disappointed by this dumb @$$ move.

I just watched all three seasons and I was hooked on the first episode. I didn’t realize it was canceled,or I wouldn’t. Have wasted my time. I cant believe they ditches this and yet continue to put on re-runs over and over. I delly liked this show and I don’t. watch much Tv at all. Go figure when I start liking something it gets canceled. Just my luck!!!!

Lie to me was awesome. Watched it on Netflix and was eagerly awaiting more when we discovered, hey wait there are no more. Was going to go to fox to watch more live, but Nooooooooooooooooo.
