best episode of the entire series, not since dirty loyal has an episode of lie to me made me feel so involved and emotionally drained. looking forward to season 4.
January 31, 2011 @ 10:28 pm
Fox CANNOT leave us hanging like that! Now I want to fight all the harder for season 4!!! Such a great episode!
January 31, 2011 @ 10:28 pm
That better just be a Season finale and not end up being the Series finale. ATTN FOX: We want and NEED a Season 4! Lie to Me deserves it! I don’t know that I could stand to never get a follow up on tonight’s ending!!
January 31, 2011 @ 10:28 pm
BLOODY HELL it was just awesome! We can’t finish the show like that! WE MUST HAVE A SEASON 4! FOX are you listen to us?!
January 31, 2011 @ 10:30 pm
It was just….I’m speechless, really. Kelli Williams was amazing, a completely stunning performance. I was holding my breath during all of her scenes. Beautiful season send-off for a quality show. FOX must know what a treasure it has in Lie To Me and its wonderful cast and crew.
January 31, 2011 @ 10:31 pm
Episode was great! The ending just leaves you wanting more. Kelli Williams was super and Tim Roth was outstanding. The connection between Cal and Gillian is just amazing. I also love Cal’s relationship with his daughter which just continues to grow with each episode. The characters this year have truly blossomed. I love them all and Monday nights will NOT be the same without them.
January 31, 2011 @ 10:41 pm
Wow….that’s all I can say…!!!! Great story, AMAZING acting by KW and TR!! Loved that Cal seemed calmer, was more like in S1! The look on his face at the end, there was so much love and affection!!! Brilliant acting by TR!!! In my opinion it was the best ep since “Blinded”!!!
If Fox is gonna leave us with Cal’s admittance of love…I m gonna go nuts!!!!!
January 31, 2011 @ 10:42 pm
What a fantastic show and season finale. I particularly liked that Cal, Gillian, and Emily had a connection in the episode. I enjoyed the cleverly placed humorous moments but the powerful emotion between Cal and Gillian was so impactful- the last scene between Cal and Zachary was chilling yet believable. Finally Cal admitted his true feelings – next step would be to actually explore the relationship with Gillian. Can’t wait for season 4 – please!
January 31, 2011 @ 10:43 pm
Absolutely brilliant episode! Kelli was beyond amazing in it. Lie To Me* totally deserves a 4th season, Hey Fox Please give it to them.

I’m honestly having a hard time stringing words into a full sentence.
January 31, 2011 @ 10:56 pm
My favorite show of the season, maybe the series. Kelli can shine given the opportunity! And calmer Cal is so much more powerful. That scene in the prison – perfectly chilling and he never raised his voice. I saw an interview in which one of the Fox execs noted that Lie to Me brings a devoted following. Hopefully they’ll find a place for it on the summer lineup. Can’t wait to see what the ratings brought; if last week wasn’t a fluke, then maybe we’ve got a chance.
January 31, 2011 @ 10:58 pm
Foster: you gonna clean that up?
Loker: that’s not my mess
Foster: so your not gonna pick it up?
Loker: *burrows eyebrows*
January 31, 2011 @ 11:04 pm
OMG that episode was beyond great….(could of gone without cal flirting with Walioski though) Kelli williams was AMAZING!!!! I would be so heart broken if tonight was the end for my fav show:( WE SO NEED A SEASON 4!!!!
January 31, 2011 @ 11:18 pm
This was my all time Fave ep! now words. Just WOW
January 31, 2011 @ 11:40 pm
OH MY GOSH!!! That episode was so AMAZING! Holy smokes, I am just blown away. That was just… spectacular. Cal admitted he loves Gillian! I’m so excited! There BETTER be a season 4 or else! UGH! What am I gonna do until next season?! Fanfiction here I come :D
Callian forever <3
January 31, 2011 @ 11:42 pm
It was a very good episode and I agree with other comments on here that the more subtle Cal ends up being a lot more powerful and intense. Well done to all the cast and crew. Hopefully this will not be the end, but if it is you ended on a high note.
February 1, 2011 @ 1:10 am
Amazing! PLEASE bring it back for a fourth (FULL!) season!
February 1, 2011 @ 1:15 am
can someone please spoil me of how he admitted his love?????
I wasn’t at home tonight and missed it!!! ARGH…. PLease :D
February 1, 2011 @ 1:56 am
He was at home talking with Emily:
-I have a question for you… Gillian. Do you love her?
-Of course I do, darling.
No, I mean ‘really’ love her.
-What are you waiting for?
-I don’t have an answer for that one, love.
That’s when I died…
February 1, 2011 @ 2:13 am
I am in Australia and none of season 3 eps have been screened here :-( I hav been getting drip fed bits and pieces by reading episode reviews, but I am dying to know what happend this episode!! Feel free to fill me in!
February 1, 2011 @ 2:17 am
Amazing episode! Stellar performances by all! Kelli stood out tonight with a fantastic emotional performance. She had me crying more than once.. I loved Tim’s calmer more decisive actions & depth of emotional responses tonight! I could feel what he was thinking… Very powerful!
And the ending? Outstanding! The look on Tim’s (Cal’s) face when he admitted his love for Gillian.. Such an adoring sweet pure look of love. Superb acting!
FOX, you have to give us season 4! This is what we’ve been waiting for… Best show ever! Intellectually appealing & heartfelt emotion!
February 1, 2011 @ 2:42 am
season 4 season 4 season 4 season 4 :D
February 1, 2011 @ 3:49 am
Great case. The guest actors were amazing (especially the one that played the evil genius). Wallowski fit naturally into the episode (for me, anyway). I want to know more about the new intern (interesting character and actor). I could have done without the hamstring scene, but that’s just me. The ending was a happy compromise between what I feared and what I wanted. It felt right having Emily ask and be the first one to know. I really want a Season 4 now.
February 1, 2011 @ 5:19 am
That was a fantastic episode. Kelli totally blew me away. She was amazing. This wait is so unfair on everyone… No show deserves another season more than Lie to Me. It makes no sense that it’s even in this position. No sense at all :(
February 1, 2011 @ 6:08 am
it’s the BEST EPISODE EVER!!!!
LIE TO ME IS THE BET SHOW EVEEEEEEER!
February 1, 2011 @ 9:22 am
i absolutely LOVED the episode!! Both Tim and Kelli did such a fantastic job in it!! But I also felt cheated, because with all the fuss about it, I expected so much more Callian and in the end I was left hanging. If the FOX biatches don’t renew the show for another season, I don’t know what to do with life!! No, I mean it, seriouslY!!!!!
February 1, 2011 @ 9:26 am
Kelli Williams was outstanding in this episode, and I wish we could see her amazing talent more often in the show. It was a very powerful episode. I really hope Fox will give us a 4th season *fingers crossed*
February 1, 2011 @ 9:40 am
Great episode. If it does turn out to be the series finale, it was a great one. The show was successfully weeded out the weak characters and story lines and made this an incredible show. I hope Fox gives it another year to make its case.
February 1, 2011 @ 9:43 am
OMG! That was, in my opinion, the best episode this season! What a finale! I am a massive fan of the show, the actors and the writers /directors / producers.
Tim Roth is my all time hero, and in this he was excellent – more subtlety = a more powerful perfomance. It gives him an opportunity to use his awesome skill of saying so much without even opening his mouth! Great close-ups of his face conveying so much. Loved the intimate scenes with Foster and Emily, so touching.
However (sorry Tim!) it was Kelli who stole this show. She was amazing. Such emotion and tears…. brilliant.
I think the Callian issue was pitched just right – enough to be a ray of hope for a future, but with plenty still to do!
Fox had better take note; this show has places to go and fans who can’t wait to see where it takes them!
February 1, 2011 @ 10:08 am
Season 4, please!
February 1, 2011 @ 10:28 am
if that episode wasn’t enough of a case for a season 4, i don’t know what would be!!! SO amazing!! Kelli was incredible and Cal was the perfect balance of snarky and sensitive… absolutely LOVED it!
February 1, 2011 @ 11:08 am
February 1, 2011 @ 11:09 am
great, great episode and great great show. Kelli William wonderful. For the first time, she made me cry. Tim exceptional actor, always. We need more, now. BUT JUST NOW : how to wait may .??????
Brendan, Monica, Hayley : fantastic
Heu….you can forget Woll….the next season…just sayin
February 1, 2011 @ 11:23 am
amazing ! is all i can say that episode was great it had alot of connection between cal and gillian and he finally confessed his love for her to his own daughter if they end this show now it will be terrible to the wrighters and FOX tv they cant leave us on a cliffhanger like that and not do anything after he say he loves her .. make season 4 happen im gonna work extra hard to make it come true and then we can finally see these two get together and discover what they have because we all know she loves him so PLEASE make a season 4 i also found out its in bewteen renweal and cancelation which is better than being cancelled more than renewal so we acually have a chance …with that episode to end it i think it might just change some minds in the tv buinsness lets hope :)
February 1, 2011 @ 12:28 pm
The episode was fantastic! Perfect performance by Tim Roth and Kelli William!! But please don’t let this be the end of it, there has got to be another season.. or five! pleeeeaasee!
February 1, 2011 @ 12:58 pm
I just wanna say that this SEASONS ENDING blew me away. KELLI, CONGRATS;. YOU DID AN OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE. I never loved you more, than in this Episode.THIS was def. the best EP of Season 3 and If it had to, I beg that it won’t be the last one. Have you heard THIS FOX? I’ll beg on my Knees, cuz I LOVE THIS SHOW SO DAMN MUCH, this can’t be the End. I NEED MORE! And epic Moment Of Lie To Me History- CAL ADMIT HE LOVES GIL!!!! I don’t wanna say it but, I KNEW IT, CAL!!!! THIS can’t be over, it has only just begun….
February 1, 2011 @ 3:20 pm
I have no words!! LOVED this episode SO much!! (the only thing that annoyed me was Wallowski’s sheer presence – I still don’t get why she’s there. At ALL. She’s completely unnecessary! I want Ben Reynolds back!!)
Kelli is SUCH an amazing actress and she totally blew my mind!! I love her so much, I can’t even tell you. And the ending of the episode just about killed me. Cal admitting to his daughter that he LOVES Gillian. He REALLY LOVES her. HE LOVES HER. I can’t even begin to describe all my emotions… this was more than I would’ve ever dared to expect. LIE TO ME ROCKS!!
WE NEED A SEASON 4 SO BADLY!!! PLEASE FOX, don’t let this amazing show go to waste!!! I’M BEGGING YOU!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PICK THEM UP FOR A 4th SEASON!!!
February 1, 2011 @ 3:42 pm
OMG!! I’m gonna die… I just can say that.
We need teh 4th season, please!
This can’t be the end,, FOX: please!!
I love Callian, Cal loves Gillian!! yeah :D
February 1, 2011 @ 4:25 pm
It was fantastic episode. Kelli and Tim are perfect. But I really want more callian. I hoped only for one kiss or maybe a confersation between them, but… I am happy Cal admitted his love, but all we already knew it (it was so beautiful sceen: how he told it). I can’t be the end. It need to work. We need season 4.
February 1, 2011 @ 5:36 pm
The main reason I’m commenting again is because I want to display my new gravatar! It’s from my favorite scene of the finale <3
I already watched the episode again, and I loved it even more! We just HAVE to get a season 4! They can't leave us hanging like that. I want it to be May but at the same time I'm terrified that May will only bring us bad news! I'm so scared! If we don't get a season 4 I don't know what I'm gonna do!
February 1, 2011 @ 6:48 pm
Darnit! It my avatar didn’t change :(
February 1, 2011 @ 6:49 pm
Never mind, it worked! :) <3
Sorry, this'll be my last post
February 1, 2011 @ 6:51 pm
Wow. This episode was just… awful. Poorly written, poorly acted, ridiculous story. I love this show but I honestly feel it has just Jumped the Shark with this one. What was it, Guest Writer week?
February 1, 2011 @ 7:22 pm
oO troll alert Oo
February 1, 2011 @ 7:51 pm
I loved the episode! Great camera work, great lighting (especially the jail scene – amazing how different Lightman looked), great acting, great writing! Awesome! I like the new character on the show (‘Ria’s charity case’) – the actor was on The Wire as well (which makes him one of many ex-The-Wire actors showing up at LTM which is a sign of quality in itself :)). FOX so should keep this show going! It’s not all about numbers and audience share. FOX should think about their image! LTM could help with that!
Am really hoping for a Season 4!
February 2, 2011 @ 1:26 pm
Best episode of season 3 because
- the amazing Kelli Williams could show her talent through the entire episode
- Tim Roth’s acting in the jail scene and when he admitted his love for Gillians was outstanding. Even better than when he plays the selfish a**hole
- nice Callian interaction
We so need a seaon 4. Fox can’t waste the talents of these actors and the possibilities a season 4 now offers!
February 3, 2011 @ 3:25 pm
The camera work was diff wasnt it? The scene where Foster/Cal/Willy were in Claire’s flat & Foster’s in shock is a really good scene. It shows how much Cal is worried about her that he doesn’t even think twice about chastising Willy. At first he seemed jealous but just think he was focusing on Gil & trying to ease her suffering.
Acting was truely amazing – how Kelli could keep crying like that (in the police room) was just awesome…
I’m hoping for good things in season 4 (it’s gonna happen people!!!). Besides the new guy ‘Key(?)’ is hot hot!!
February 3, 2011 @ 7:08 pm
I honestly couldn’t tell you what happened in this episode, it was that uneventful for me. As for those of you calling it the best “of the season/of the show”, I say, phooey. Did you see Season 2, Episode 11: Beat the Devil, that was the grittiest, most intriguing, gut-wrenching episode I’ve seen in a while. As for season 3, I truly felt it went down hill every week, it’s like House, with all the sappy, love story B.S. and for the record total woman. I can name 15 shows off the top of my head that is in jeopardy, almost directly following the lead/ or leads becoming romantically involved. Most of these shows dynamics revolve around the “crazy, pill-popping, bad hair cut, bad boy/girl” characters. When you lose that, you loose the character, they don’t evolve, they cease to exist. Yes in real life we expect people to grow, in t.v. shows the thing that makes us come back is not the thing you change, eliminate, or even tweak for a change. Haven’t they figured it out, change is bad…. at least when it comes to some t.v. I hope someone catches on to this before we’re watching nothing but reality t.v. with shotgun barrels in our mouths, no offense to the suicidal.
February 27, 2011 @ 12:58 am
Lie to Me is the best show on TV, I cannot believe they are considering dropping it. It is just so different from anything else. Engaging story lines and brilliant relationship development between characters. Just can’ t get enough of it. Tom Roth and Kelli Williams are fantastic and the daughter is very, very good too. Fox – please, please keep it going.
July 27, 2011 @ 1:30 pm
I really loved it! Cal and Gillian all the way, they make may day happier and I love to see them together :) I just hate that Wallowski, I hope she won’t show her face…….
