   Ok as much as i want to see foster and lightman get together, i know it wont happen (at least not yet..but i can dream) as it would mess with the feel and tension of the show..
   HOWEVER in sayin that why is it that Cal always has women throwing themselves at him.. i understand he has this “thing” about him. But what about Gillian? seriously? (Im female and i would so switch sides for her) yet we hardly ever see (apart from burns) the writters look into that side of things with her, but always see it with Cal.

   sorry lol thats my lil rant..
   BUT I DO LOVE THE SHOW!!

   That’s because she goes for the blandest of men (not a Burns fan soz and Alec – really!?!). It’s about time she realises her relationships never work because she needs some excitement. Cal needs to prove he can settle down yet still provide that “danger” element which makes him so attractive. Unfort he needs to hurry up and do this because us fans are becoming impatient! The writers had better not do a Bones (and even Huddy for that instance) because after 5 years of will-they-won’t-they, I dont even care anymore. Shame Mehki is leaving. Should’ve explored him and Gil – that would have narked off Cal!!

   I understand that they are not going to put Lightman and Foster together anytime soon, but COME ON!!!! Can we please let Gillian get some action. Every time a female shows up they throw themselves onto Cal. I love the show don’t get me wrong, one of my fav., but seriously can’t Gillian have a guy(yes, there was Burns but that was it). I’m gonna get my fingers crossed that they pick it up for another 9 more Eps.

   oh my god, stop throwing other women at cal!! i understand they probably won’t put cal&gillian together any time soon, but i think we can all last several eps without cal jumping other women that are within his line of sight.

   the show’s one of my all-time favourites though, so i’ll put up with it if we get tons more seasons + cal&gillian end up living happily ever after.

   The first 6 comments sound as though they were made by the same person. Didn’t Foster just split with her husband in Season 1? How many relationships or conquests should a person be ready to have that soon? I thought she really cared for the DEA guy and visa versa, yet she seems to have gotten over him pretty quickly. Actually, I don’t know what I’m trying to say, really.

   I’m really, really upset by this.

   I love the show and I know and undestand that the writers won’t let Cal and Gillian be together yet. But, hey… it isn’t even believable that all women he meets end up being his “love interest”. It’s just TOO MUCH. I lost track of how many of them we’ll see next season. It ends up being boring because it’s always the same thing… other names.

   @gdolecki Ok, maybe you’re right and it’s too soon for Gillian to get into another relationship after her divorce and Burns. But that’s not what I’m asking for. At least it would be nice to see that men actually notice that she is there, if you know what I mean. Plus… can’t she have some fun too? And I mean FUN… she’s human after all, isn’t she?

   @ gdolecki.. i didnt mean for Gill to jump into a relationship (ie alec/burns style).. i meant just some casual flirting, or guys noticing her (like all the women on the show notice Cal).
   It would make the cal/gil dynamic a lil more fun and develope that relationship at the same time.. I DONT want Gillian to turn into a slut, by any means, she is awesome the way she is. @Silvana.S.M very much agree with you! jst a lil bit of innocent fun!

    im a callian all the way but i dont really want them to get 2gether anytime soon, i want back n forth action, teasing, tension, etc n the fact that every new female addition 2 the show ends up or was at some point in lightman’s bed doesnt really bother me, any man with his skills would be a player, i mean, even without his skills men usually are players anyways at some point in their lives, so im ok with that 2, its totally believable as far as im concerned.
    BUT foster should have more fun, even after her failed marriage, etc, that would bring more tension between them wich like i said im all for.
    that been said i think i do understand what is it the writers r implying here: lightman will be on a string of meaningless relationships till he cant hide any longer his real feelings n foster will unconsciously be attracted to guys that cant provide for her a long-term or successful or even healthy relationship, wich will inevitably lead to a bad break up, until she quits being in denial about her true feelings for lightman. she will learn the hard way, as well.
    that wicked dance will last several seasons (hopefully) until 1 day they will cross the damn line. all the way. full throttle.
    n i will be there, watching n jumping up n down like a maniac.

    Totally agree with you guys! I hate that the shows often gets too Cal-centred. And that Gillian is reduced to the best friend and colleague who’s there for him if he needs her but then gets pushed aside again… I’m totally up for giving Gillian some ‘love interests’. Raider (Ryder?! you know who I mean…) could come back for one ep for example. I don’t think that her hooking up with clients (or even suspects) like Cal does would be reliable. She is too much of a pro. But there are other ways to introduce new guys. And like you all said – at least some flirting, some acknowledging her as a beautiful woman would be nice. It sucks that the men on shows like that always got a lot going on and the women don’t

    Twitlonger Abuse

    OT: would someone please send a gentle reminder to those on twitter who abuse twitlonger? This is not to make anyone feel bad or you the tweeter police but some people would benefit from much needed awareness as I’m sure they must not be aware or would not repeatedly make the same mistake. There are people who tweet Mr. Tim Roth incessantly, sending him never ending tweets with twitlonger, same persons several times a day. I’m sure these people mean well but Mr Roth is at work and has hardly the time to get through all the regular tweets as it. As if that weren’t bad enough, there is a person who keeps hounding him with “did you get my twitlong message?” “did you get the one I sent you yesterday?” “did you read it?” “please reply”.

    These persons would benefit from being reminded that Mr. Roth is under no obligation to read our tweets, let alone reply to them and we should be grateful for his time, not pestering him for more, particuarly when one has already been the recipient of his more than generous replies. Some of us have yet to receive a mere “hello” as he tends to favor conversing with the same people again and again. Which is fine, as long as Mr. Roth decides what to do. Please let’s not make Mr. Roth that this is an obligation or that he owes us. Some of us have just sent a tweet or two, come back a few days later and tried our luck again but fruitlessly; it seems unless we all join the crowd of those who over-tweet him, our messages will be lost in the madness.

    Is there a way to appeal to those people (one person in particular, maybe done privately) so as to make them aware at the very least that they should not resend the same twitlonger novel day after day and beg and to let Mr. Roth choose whoever he wants to reply to. It is childish to assume that Mr. Roth would have the time, let alone the desire to read such diatribe 5-10 times a day from the same person.

    Sorry for this OT but I’ve noticed that Mr Roth appears lately to have chosen to ignore such twitlonger messages only to be coherced into a reply with repeated spamming of his time line with constant begging by the same person. Take a deep breath. Tim Roth is not going anywhere and tomorrow is another day. Unless such behavior proves to be too overwhelming and he closes his account like other celebrities have done. Thank you for reading and again sorry for the OT.

    Really? *sighs* Did the writers have some kind of disagreement over who they wanted to bring in to play Cal’s love interest that they just said “Screw it!” and decided to use everyone’s favorite?

    As has been stated many times above, Gillian deserves some fun of her own, or at least some men going after her (even if she’s oblivious to it or flirts but doesn’t want any kind of relationship just yet). In the real world, it would be much more likely that the eligible, powerful, beautiful female would have people throwing themselves at her than the male (sorry, but men are more likely to act like sharks than women when it comes to going after a relationship or just some “fun”).

    I agree 100% with Twitlonger Abuse. I’ve been part of the Warzone message board for many years. Since this woman from France invaded it around May it hasn’t been the same. sadly she has managed to monopolize most everyone’s attention on TWZB befriending them for her own agenda to “get close to Tim Roth at all costs” like a stalker. She’s a new fan who wrote she had no idea Tim Roth existed before LTM. IMO she appears to have joined TWZ board just to get close to Tim and to compete for his attention. it would not surprise me if she’s not even a victim like she claims, she’s self absorbed and selfish and wants things and people to revolve around her. Anyone who has been abused would be more sensitive to other’s feelings but “nath” tries to monopolize Tim’s time anyway she can. Somehow everything now revolves around her and she gets others to do her bidding. She’s been saying she’s personal friends with Tim and treats him like he’s her buddy. I’m glad someone else noticed that when he ignores her she plays the victim and starts asking him if everything’s ok and starts apologizing. it’s just her manipulative way to make him sorry for her and gain his attention all over again. it’s all a game to this little girl. I haven’t posted on Warzone since she’s monopolized the board. IMHO this nath from france is bipolar or delusional or both and thinks she’s more to Tim than just a fan. (She has tweeted that) I cringe to think what she will do once he ignores her for good. I don’t think she’s mentally stable. Lucky for Tim she lives in France. Everywhere you google Tim Roth there you will find nathfromfrance and her childish egotistical messages. A true fan would give Tim Roth a rest.Good luck with trying to get your point across.

    hi just a note to answer to few here. Maybe it’s not the perfect place to talk about here, just to clarify things.
    im sorry/« confused » if you think that, just to let you know there is not only twitter and the Z…
    we in contact… He knows what i mean in my words. Maybe the words used can seem weird for you, i can understand that.
    i admit the longtwits and the several tweets and posts in the Z, i have conscience of that and i gonna reduce. And correction i never ask him to reply… never! read! :) We are blessed he takes of his timeto tweet. If you have read my tweets you have surely read it many times i said how blessed we are… Playing a victim? First i play nothing and ok sometimes miss his tweets but i always say that we all know he is overworked… and grateful of the time he spends in twitter.
    Also, i think you didnt read some childish tweets from people who play, include him in some kinda weird/childish games, or childish reaction really cry to have a tweet from him and who ask him childish questions… im not delusional or biploar or whatever, just sincere, stable (been nurse student, studied psychoplogy during several years and i work in hospital so sorry to say, but biploar is not that), respectful yeah, in all my words and attituds. Again i admit to talk a lot… i have conscience of that and gonna reduce! And if you have read my tweets and posts in the Z you will understand, well maybe not, but yep it’s not only a thankfulness from a fan, (about that… a huge correction to the one who wrote that «  she’s more to Tim than just a fan. (She has tweeted that) »
    HUGE CORRECTION: i wrote: my thankfulness is not only a thankfulness from a fan (HUGE IMPORTANT nuance! im nothing to him! read correctly please…) but a respectful thankfulness, because thanks to him i feel myself as a survivor no more a victim of some experiences in my life, and he brings so much peace in me… it’s a deep and sincere thankfulness, not only a thankfulness from fan for the good moments thanks to his movies.
    Well sorry if you feel/think that. And about the fact about being abused or not, if you have read my posts in the Z, i never said/mentionned being abused PHYSICALLY… i never said that, read again :)
    Again, he knows who i am, stable, respectul, sincere (and his Messages not only tweets, show me his confidence, that im honest and respectful and sane and to not be « worry » about that kind of reactions and there is no problem at all, and that he understands what i mean.. Life is too short to think of that kind of reactions, and again i admit i talk a lot in twit’ and in the Z (and again i have conscience of that so will reduce.)
    before to finish this post… me selfish? well i have defaults but it’s not one of them. everybody can confirm, and i love to take care of others, that’s why i bring my support in the Z. it’s me, im a caring person, and love to bring comfort, to be a shoulder, people know that. im in the Z because it’s a refuge for me to regenerate, to breathe again, an ark, well, again read again :)

    Sorry to place an OT message, but I want to address “Greg’s” comments – I will be brief:

    Like Jim, I’ve been around the WZMB for years, and I have to agree with him; who the hell is Greg? Either this person is being dishonest about their name, or being dishonest about their participation on the board. It is ridiculous and petty to assume that the neither the WZMB nor Tim Roth is capable of handling the occasional misplaced attention. The board can block posters and Tim can block tweets.
    “Greg” writes, “Anyone who has been abused would be more sensitive to other’s feelings” Really – and your message above is an example of how to be sensitive? How ironic. There is no reason to abandon the board. If “Greg” truly has been a participant, sharing his abuse story and subsequent recovery, it is sad that any newcomer arriving on the board will not benefit from his knowledge and experience simply because he cannot ignore someone he feels is being dishonest and insensitive. Again, how ironic.

    as long it’s ok for Tim it’s ok for me, i will not stop to communicate with him (i reduce my post and tweets and “funny” to see that some other have sent some twitlong too last night ;)).
    And again his messages (not only tweets) show me (first his confidence), he recognizes my Respect, my sincere thankfulness and the reasons why, and to not worry about this kind of attituds.
    Sorry ltmscoop you do a fantastic job for us all fans and these few OT posts here…
    and just before to finish, i will not leave the Z, first coz i need it to be there, to regenerate, to breath again, to feel in security, precious ark! and coz there are some lovely and precious wings there, precious patting hands on the head, always here to bring peace, comfort, smile, we all spend lovely times, good or hard times, always all here to each other.
    That’s all. i had conscience to talk kinda a lot, i reduced, but will not stop the communication (tweet….) with him or to leave the z!
    i don’t want to be rude or to offense, but you have no idea, about his confidence…
