is this very bad or okay? does this mean it won’t get a full third season?

@CJ I would definitely label it as “okay”… or even good. It’s not that it was excellent, but it is the summer, and it’s just a given that it won’t get the same ratings it does during the regular season. Though, as in the regular season, slower weeks are to be expected. So, what you have to do is compare it to how it’s performed this summer… not during the regular season in the past. And, it’s been performing steadily so far this summer, so I certainly don’t think one week would have any impact on the chances for a full third season. ;) On a side note: Dan Sackheim recently stated on Twitter that Lie to Me is/was the second most watched show on Hulu. So, while people may have plans that prevent them from watching it the first time through, they’re still watching the show. Networks take online numbers into consideration as well.

@Kate, you bring up really good points about the summer rating expectations and the value of online #s. Hint hint Lie To Me Fans… rewatch on Hulu even if you’re not actually watching while it plays :)
