Changes are Coming to Lie to Me Scoop, and We Need Your Input!

Hard to believe it’s been over a year that Lie to Me Scoop’s been up and running. You guys have been tremendously supportive, and that’s meant a lot. But, there have been some changes/additions/enhancements needed on the site that are long overdue. So while we get those underway, it seems like a good time to ask you guys what you would like to see changed or added to the site. We’d love to get your input and opinions on things you’d like to see. A couple of things we will be or are considering implementing:

- Search functionality (finally!)
- Enhanced commenting capabilities, including edit/delete and Facebook Connect
- (Tentatively) Adding User Profiles

There are some other things on the table as well, but we’ll see how it goes. So, what else would you like to see? Please feel free to be honest about areas you think we could improve on. Obviously, we may not be able to implement all of your suggestions, but knowing what you guys would like to see is important to us. Please oh please make Cal go all rogue!! He is so on the edge anyway and this would really show off Tim Roth as the amazing actor he is! I am not saying you all aren’t doing that already, I just think he could really do something with his darker side.
More sparring with Zoe. More insight by Emily. A good solid relationship for Gillian.

I think the thing with pictures scrolling at the top of the homepage delay the page loading on my iPhone.

This site is already great! The only think I would want is to be posted the interview when a cast of LTM appears on, for exemple this week I found on youtube 2 NEW interviews of Kelli Williams that weren’t posted here. That’s the only thing…=] I really like this site!

I really like the site and a tab on my Chrome is always open with it. :) I think the search funcionality would be cool and also agree that the scrolling pictures delay the loading (in my Blackberry, in my case). A cell phone friendly version of the site would be awesome.
It would also be great if there could be a way of subscribing and getting and email every time you post something new (maybe this is already possible, if so, I did not see it).

Hey guys, This website is like a lifeline between episodes lol!

I agree with perhaps finding a way to speed up the loading of the page…my laptop doesn’t really like it either :(

@fv I don’t have any further info on that than what’s already been reported. However, if I had to venture a guess… (and this is definitely just a guess)… it would I’d say it has to do either with Max Martini’s story arc, the fact that the finale will now air as 2 parts (on the same day), or both. Will let you know if/when there’s more info. But it’s the first I heard of it this morning, so I apologize I can’t be more helpful.. ;)

The site’s already great, the only thing I think could use a little improvement is maybe finding a way to speed up the site- it’s slow on dial up! Other than that it’s all good. :)

Your site is one of my first pages to hit whenever I pop online. As others have mentioned, the page is a bit slow to load with the flash at the top. Other than that, great website, fantastic design!

Speed up loading of the site, it is very frustrating. Removing the picture scroll as other’s have commented might well help with this. It would be really nice to get a forum going I have given up on the official fox forum and now only come to this site.

Yes, definitely make it faster loading, please. I’m on dial-up, and sometimes I have to try multiple times to get it to load at all, and then if I have to click through to actually read the rest of the content and comments, it happens all over again.

Also, the ability to subscribe to the comments on a post or to get notifications of new comments would be appreciated. And possibly archiving in ways that make it easier to get to a certain kind of post, e.g. discussion of episodes. A forum would be terrific, too!
