I have mixed feelings about this one. I really enjoyed this episode, especially liked Loker in this one! Nice to see Torres on her own gettin it done too. Sad part is waiting until spring. Kate, I hope you can keep us busy via this AWESOME blog cause we’re gonna need all the help we can get to get us through the “H” word!

There’s not enough “lie detecting” and learning about how to detect lies going on. That’s what sets this show apart from others, otherwise its just another “whodunnit” show.

Let’s get more of the science and Paul Ekman involved in this show!

Ditto for me, Mary! I can’t wait for the Callian developments though! It’ll be spring, and hopefully love will be in the air! :)

Well I enjoyed it but as a Callian FREAK I’m a bit disappointed except did you see Cal checking Gillian out near the beginning of the show – about 5 and a half mins in as they are taking the kids into the conference room? OMG he was really checking her out and he did it twice ! Have never seen him so obvious! Hilarious.

Some good one liners from Cal as always and loved Loker getting his kiss at the end! Would have loved to have headed off for a few drinks in the pub with them LOL!

Cold Turkey is setting in…. How will I make it through the “H” word til “late spring”???
Thanks Kate for all the scoops and hope we have lots more to keep us sane

I liked the episode overall fairly well — good story and all that — but I like a little more personal interaction, even if it’s just tidbits tossed in, esp. between Cal and Gillian. There wasn’t really any of that, which is esp. disappointing since we won’t see them for the next few months :-/

Yea, this episode was ok. I’d like to have seen more character interactions as well. And, of course, I was very disappointed with the lack of Callian :(

I agree! He was totally cheking her out! And it was funny because there’s no way you could think he was looking at the kids. His sight was kind of pointing direct to her ass, haha!

The only gripe I have with this episode is that to me it didn’t feel like a real “finale”. Mind you, I understand that it’s just a mid-season finale and not a “real” one, but that doesn’t change the fact that it didn’t feel strong enough as a conclusion – especially since we’re facing this long h-word period (sigh!). A finale as I understand it is something that will leave you hanging until the show comes back, something that will make *you* come back to watch in order to know what happened next… but in this case the episode was self-conclusive on its own, no cliffahangers – not even the slightest sight of one, actually (they could have cut short to right before Cal opened the trailer… bomb or no bomb? Well, of course no bomb, it’s a lame example, but hopefully you get what I mean). In that sense I do think that Fold Equity would have been a much better fall finale with that last scene at the roulette (have they/have they not won? – ah ah, we’re not telling you, come back a thousand months down the line and you’ll find out..!). Then maybe they wouldn’t have answered the question anyway, but at least you had a reason to come back and check.
Now before anybody points this out, I do realise that Fold Equity was meant to be aired much earlier in the season, but since scheduling had already been pretty much screwed up anyway, at this point I would have kept it for that mid-season finale instead of Tractor Man.

The episode itself was cute though, with Brendan & Felicia singing with the kids, and it was a good episode overall (although a touch prevedible maybe – nobody really believed Cal would actually blow up, right?).
