Melissa George Scores a Recurring Role on Lie to Me

According to EW’s Ausiello, Melissa George will be guesting on Lie to Me as “Clara Martin”, a recurring role that starts in episode 11. Her character was described in the casting call previously announced, but, in short, think Anna Nicole Smith.

According to Ausiello, Clara “is the sassy wife of an older billionaire who has been murdered. After being exonerated in a high-profile murder trial, she assumes control of her husband’s empire. Lightman sees himself in her — naughty, fearless, strategic, and always game for the next adventure.”

UPDATE: According to TVGuide.com, Melissa will appear in at least two episodes. They also state that she and Lightman will “bond over their shared eccentricities”.

So, are you looking forward to seeing her “go toe-to-toe with Tim Roth”?

Wow! Do you really think she will go toe to toe with Lightman or perhaps she will become his “love interest”. They might realize they have a lot in common and who knows where it could go from there. Very interesting….

Anna Nicole was never a favorite of mine. Kind of fluffy and it’s hard to believe some one like that to be strategic although naughty would fit the bill!
