What direction will the Foster/Lightman relationship take this year on Lie to Me? — Kate
ADAM: Executive producer Shawn Ryan will promise only movement on the relationship front. “It’s something we’re going to take a little slowly, but it’s something we also take seriously,” he says. “You’ll see the nature and the intimacy of their relationship.” But could Lightman take a possible detour to Zoetown? “There’s always the possibility…” Ryan teases.

Adam’s Mega Rave: I didn’t watch Lie to Me last season, but after Monday’s premiere, I’m definitely adding it to my rotation. Shield creator Shawn Ryan added a nice punch of adrenaline, evidenced by Tim Roth’s extreme interrogation of a patient with multiple personalities (a fantastic Erika Christensen) that would make Vic Mackey proud.

I’ve been waiting for the Lightman/Foster relationship ever since my first minute of seeing them on screen! I really hope they take it seriously and do it well. I have faith in them though :)

Me too! I loved Cal and Gillian together the moment they were introduced in the Pilot. I have faith that they’ll write them without too much soap-opera angst. They’ve done an amazing job with them so far! I do hope that he doesn’t go back to Zoe again first though – we’ve been there already.

No no no, no more cal/gillian after the season 2 premier. After the ‘taking money from company and handing to Zoe’ incident, I don’t think Lightman’s good enough for Foster. If he’s still lusting after his ex-wife then be that way, Foster should get a better man!
