Lie to Me scored a 2.9/7 rating/share, with 7.72 million viewers. Airing in the same time slot were Gossip Girl (CW 1.2/3, 2.33 million), Trauma (NBC 2.3/6, 6.93 million), Dancing with the Stars (ABC 3.8/9, 16.82 million), Two and a Half Men (CBS, 9:00 – 4.7/11, 13.64 million), and The Big Bang Theory (CBS 9:30 – 5.1/12, 13.02 million).

    Those are dissapointing results in my opinion but it’s too soon to worry (I hope!)

    The ratings are not too bad for a show with a 12 episode first season. They beat GG and Trauma… and the other three are already pretty well established :)

    @Ricey: Agreed. And, in reality, they did improve over their spring ratings. I expected a larger retention of the House audience based on the way the reruns performed, but all in all it wasn’t too bad. :)

    I have a feeling word-of-mouth could be a big asset for season two. I think there are still a lot of people who haven’t checked out the show, and there also seem to be those that saw an ep or two in the first season, but didn’t come back. Hearing about the revamped (and improved, imo) format just might cause these ones to tune in.
