    Thanks for sharing this deleted scene and I hope we get to see more when the Blu Ray comes out on the 25th.
    Torres is truly one of the characters I love to hate! She’s just not my favorite and she acts like she knows more than Lightman.

    I think it’s really crappy that only the blu-ray has the deleted scenes and bloppers. I hope someone uploads them.

    @Lisa: I agree! I’m stuck in the old ages and I don’t even own a Blu Ray player (I hate to admit it but I actually have one VCR that still works – lol) Maybe someone will feel sorry for us and will upload the deleted scenes for us :)

    @Lisa an @newfan01:
    It doesn’t make much sense to me either, particularly for two reasons: 1)How long can deleted scenes and a gag reel be? They can’t add that much time. 2) There’s only 13 episodes to begin with. It’s not like they had a full season.

    The Fox Home Ent. site had/has the time’s for both listed as being the same, but via Twitter Fox Home Ent. said the standard DVD had a running time of (something like) 10 min. less. That doesn’t seem to add up either. Hmmm…

    BTW, @newfan01, I think there’s a greater majority of people that still have standard DVD players. (You’re not alone! ;) Though the transition is slowly being made, it still doesn’t seem like enough to warrant not inluding the extra features on the standard DVD release.

    Great scene, thanks for including it. :)

    I disagree about Torres, I simply think she is new to this and simply over-eager to show what she has learned.

    @Celtic: You’re welcome. :)

    To further complicate things, I got an e-mail from Columbia House this morning, and listed as an alternate “Director’s Selection” was season one of Lie to Me. I wanted to see what they listed as the features. Guess what was on there? “Deleted Scenes” for both Blu-Ray and standard. (But, they didn’t list the gag reel for either one, so I’m not sure how reliable they are.) I’m going to stick with what Fox Home Ent. said for now, but it’d be cool if it did have those things on it for everyone that doesn’t have Blu-Ray. :)

    This is confusing. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. I’ve already taped all of season 1′s episodes so all I really care about is the deleted scenes and gag reel.

    @Lisa: Hopefully I didn’t confuse you more! (I just read on yet another non-Fox site that the DVD has those extra features. But, that could just be them assuming. I think you’re right… we will “just have to wait and see”. :)

    Guys, I’m so sorry. Can anybody write a transcription for this scene? I can’t understand some Lightman’s phrases.

    @Simon: Hello! It’s no problem. :) I wrote up a quick transcript below, though I’m not sure I got some of the names or their spelling right. But, I hope it helps. Take care. :)

    T: I don’t think she was lying.

    L: Yeah, well that’s the thing about great liars… you can’t tell if they’re telling the truth.

    T: I’ve never seen anyone that good.

    L: I have.

    T: Okay. But what if she was telling the truth.

    L: Look, Jeffrey showed me six studies that prove that Priox is safe.

    T: What if Ribacor messed with the data?

    L: You read too much Grisham darling.

    T: Okay.

    L: What? What’s that?

    T: No, no! I don’t wanna’ break any of your rules.

    L: ‘Scuse me?

    T: I think your friend’s got you off your game.

    L: Are you tryin’ to get fired?

    T: No. I’m trying to stop you from making a mistake. — If we can’t… If we can’t tell Iesha’s lying, shouldn’t we at least check out her story?

    L: All right. Set up an appointment at Neeman labs.
