Bones and Lie to Me Crossover?

30 July 2009 at 8:32 am

Michael Ausiello is reporting that Fox is “toying with the idea of staging a crossover next season that would find Booth and Brennan working on a case with Tim Roth’s Lie to Me doc Lightman”. An insider cautioned that it “may not even happen”, as its still in the “very early stages”.

What do you think? Are you a Bones fan? Do you think a crossover might tap into a new audience for Lie to Me?

    Don’t watch Bones because the previews never look appealing (tries too hard to be comedic all the time), but yes, I too think it would draw in more viewers to LTM, which is always a good thing! I thought for sure if any crossovers were talked about it, it would be with House.

    Hmmm. I usually do try to watch “Bones” and I never thought about a cross over before now, but that might work. Bones is much more graphic in terms of showing dead bodies and such and I could see why the Bones forensic science would be complimented with Lightmans’ deception detection to solve a murder mystery.

    @3rdrocker: I’m with you on the House thing. I was actually surprised when it was “Bones”. I don’t watch the show myself, but the styles seem different. I’m sure, if they choose to go that route, they’ll make it work.

    @newfan01: Interesting points. :)
