Lie to Me and House will be preempted tonight, 6/29/09, for a repeat airing of a Michael Jackson themed American Idol. According to The Futon Critic’s schedule, when it returns on July 6th, “A Perfect Score” will be airing. What’s interesting about this is that “Love Always” was slated for tonight, meaning the episodes would’ve been aired out of their original sequence. (Not necessarily uncommon for summer reruns, but seeing as there were 13 Mondays, it seemed unnecessary.) This current schedule puts things back in sequence. However, considering the August preemption for the Teen Choice Awards, it now seems likely that one episode will need to be cut. Or, perhaps aired on another night.
